Best of Spring Florals

In between a wonderful "Chi Omega Mom's Weekend" here in Lubbock, Texas, and gearing up for a quick Easter trip to Dallas, when it has come to dressing up, I have been a little lackadaisical. Meaning shorts and a t-shirt every single day. Lazy and unpresentable.

I've always been a jeans, t-shirt, and sandals every day girl. Since starting a fashion + lifestyle blog, I would definitely say that my style has somewhat altered - I pay more attention to detailed pieces and feminine prints. As much as I love being comfortable, I also believe that sometimes we are most comfortable when we feel confident. I am most confident not when I am completely dolled up with hair and make up, but when my hair is clean and blow dried, my lips and eyelashes have some color, and I'm wearing a fun flowy top. There's nothing better than feeling relaxed, while sporting a cute outfit at the same time.

This Free People printed top is similar to what I find myself in most spring days. When it is sunny and warm, a bright color and sleeveless top is the only way to go. When I first tried it on, I knew that a dark denim would be a perfect contrast to the flowers in the detailing. I found this Free People denim skirt that is one of the most comfortable denim pieces I have worn, so far. It has a fun zipper accent on the side, and is such a great length - not too 'mini', but not too 'midi'.  I love that the coral and burgundy colors make for a fun print, and would really stand out when paired with white denim, or a light wash short. Truly, the pops of aqua and orange are what caught my eye.

Of course, all throughout the warmer seasons, a floral print is fit for any and every occasion. In case you're in need of the perfect floral piece, I have linked my absolute favorites below!
