Spring Style with Bishop + Young

My favorite time of the year is finally in full swing. Like so many people I know, I experience major seasonal depression, so celebrating spring and summer is a must for me. I could actually die for a strawberry mojito on a patio by the pool with just a touch of sun on my shoulders and some 90s throwbacks playing in the background - that is the dream. What could make that situation better? Throwing on a simple skirt or tie up top and some sandals.

Every year, spring and summer brings to-die pieces from all of my favorite brands. As I've gotten older and my style has evolved, I have found myself picking more and more simplistic, timeless pieces that are typically neutral in color. I do love a good pastel for spring, but on a day-to-day basis, I am a black or white girl. I found out about Bishop + Young about a year ago and immediately fell in love with their line. Think effortless, casual yet chic and contemporary pieces that can be worn time and time again. They have so many neutrals that I am loving, however they are also incorporating printed pieces such as this pink, floral (right up my alley) cowl neck top. The unique textures and light materials are what always win me over with this brand!

You guys know that white is like my middle name. I LOVE a good white staple piece. Whether that be a pair of denim, a bag, a bra or even a little tee, you can never ever go wrong with white. I am not kidding when I say I have already worn these B+Y pieces like four times each - they are that good. Tie tops are totally my thing, so I knew I had to have the white Serenity top. I threw it on with my favorite light wash denim and a straw hat which is so perfect for this weather.

Not sure if anyone has also experienced this problem, but high waisted skirts are hard to find. I knew I wanted a linen material with buttons or detail of some sort, so when I saw the Button Front Skort I was immediately obsessed. If you find yourself wearing it literally all summer you can thank me later.

If you want to treat yourself to a few new pieces for summer, the Bishop + Young Lookbook is a great place to start. I'd love to see how you style them!
